1. Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Two years of college or equivalent preferred.
  3. Prior secretarial or administrative experience required.
  4. Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  5. Basic clerical skills including typing, faxing, coping, and mailing.

General Responsibilities

  1. Greet visitors, answer telephone messages and calls in professional and efficient manner.
  2. Submits faxes to the correct staff members
  3. Keeps up with Aquatic and Fitness Center spreadsheet and memberships
  4. Order office supplies for the entire campus
  5. Distributes Resident and employee mail
  6. Track campus newspaper distribution
  7. Update Spreadsheet of Residents that are out of town
  8. Creates and distributes flyers and keeps sign boards updated
  9. Informs ALL when our fire alarms are offline and back on line (AADCO)
  10. Organizes and makes sure the receptionist area is clean

  4. Supports and participates in common teamwork
    • Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
    • Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
    • Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.
    • Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
  5. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress code including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned
